Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I was excited to try what a friend called 'Argentine-style pizza', and Pompano makes faina (chickpea flour-based bread) that I've read Argentinan's put on top of the pizza and eat together. both the faina and the pizza were pretty greasy, too greasy to eat in combination for sure, and the pizza was pretty run-of-the-mill.

We had pizza delivered on a Sunday night. They quoted 45 minutes and that's when our pizzas arrived! Pizzas were made correctly. We had a veggie pizza and a pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom. I was disappointed that they use canned mushrooms. The sauce and dough were average. There was nothing spectacular about the pizzas. Prices are average. Ordering and delivery process were efficient and friendly. I would try another place before I order again from Pompano Pizza.

This place is right around the corner from my place. So I picked up instead of delivery. I had the Chicken Parm dinner. It was actually very good...came with a hearty salad and garlic rolls. I picked up the food. Very nice people working in there. The chicken was cooked perfectly but I think the sauce could use some improving. Rather watered down and not enough of it. I would definitely go there again. Try something else.

We moved into the neighborhood in March and have ordered here tons of times. Food has been great until recently and the service is now extremely poor as well. We called to explain our order was delivered incorrect and the manager hung up the phone. An apology would have made a world of difference.

If anyone knows NYC Style Pizza its me. I've been ordering from this place religiously since I've moved from NYC 3 years ago and never had a problem. The pizza is definitely the best NYC Style Pizza here in South Florida. Although I've never sat down at this place I usually get my food delivered. Yes at times the delivery can take a bit of time but knowing this I always order early enough so that it gets to me when I'm ready to eat. Besides if there busy with orders doesn't that mean that other people besides me love their food? Not only is the Pizza good here but the Chicken Cutlet Parmesan is excellent. I usually order the Dinner plate which comes with two huge delicious Garlic Rolls and a salad with Italian dressing. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for NYC Style Pizza & Italian dishes.

Fantastic thin crust pizza. I would give it five stars but I've only had one time. Friendly people working.

Horrible tasteless pizza. Tasted like cardboard with tasteless cheese and no sauce. Surprised they are still in business with the crap they call pizza. Don't bother going to this place. If you want good pizza reserve your $$$ and time on Bella Roma, Anthony's coal fired pizza or Umberto's, in no specific order.

Simply, I won't be back. Was told on the phone I could pick up my pizza in 30 minutes. I showed up in 40 minutes - it was a busy Friday night so gave them a little extra time - only to be told that it hadn't even been put into the oven yet. Once in, dude says it'll only be 10 minutes. I sat there for 30 minutes while people come and go. Finally I inquired as to what's up. Guy retrieves the box from the top of the oven where it had been sitting for who knows how long. When I asked why he didn't know my pizza was done, he made excuses about how he didn't know til he looked at the name (???) and it wasn't his fault, etc. Seriously? An hour and 10 min after calling, they lose my pizza AND make excuses. How about this for originality - be straight up with the customer as far as time goes and assume a little responsibility. Cowardly act by the skinny guy at the counter.....and I'm through with them.

My work buddies and I love this place for lunch. 2 slices of pizza and a drink for less than $6 is a steal. The slices are large and crunchy. There's something about having a New York style slice - think and crispy that hits the spot. You can also get the one slice, a salad and drink for less than $6 as well, but we seem to love the pizza so much, we rarely do that one! ;)
